TMP Design
Effective traffic management begins with clear, accurate, and compliant planning. At PEAK Traffic Management, we prepare Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) that are practical, site-specific, and aligned with project and Road Control Authority requirements.

Our TMPs are tailored to suit the unique conditions of each project, whether works are being undertaken on busy urban roads, local streets, or rural infrastructure corridors. With a strong understanding of traffic flow, site constraints, and risk management, our planning process ensures safety, compliance, and efficient site delivery are considered from the outset.

We work collaboratively with clients, councils, and stakeholders to develop TMPs that meet regulatory requirements while remaining workable on site. Our planning approach focuses on minimising disruption, maintaining access where required, and prioritising the safety of road users, pedestrians, and workers.

With experience preparing both CoPTTM and NZGTTM-aligned Traffic Management Plans, PEAK delivers planning solutions that emphasise practicality, efficiency, and proportionate risk management.

With PEAK, clients can be confident that traffic management vehicles and equipment are professionally managed and maintained to a high standard.

CAR Applications
Any work or activity that affects the normal operation of a road, footpath, or berm requires an approved Corridor Access Request (CAR) before works can commence. This process ensures activities within the legal road corridor are carried out safely and in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.

Within Christchurch, the Road Control Authority is responsible for approving and coordinating works in the road corridor and ensuring compliance with relevant bylaws, legislation, codes of practice, and local requirements.

PEAK Traffic Management supports clients by managing the CAR application process on their behalf. Drawing on our experience and understanding of Road Control Authority requirements, we prepare and submit applications, coordinate associated traffic management documentation, and assist with any queries or conditions that arise during the approval process.

If you would like support with a CAR application, please contact our office. We are happy to discuss your requirements and can arrange a meeting, either in person or online, to ensure the process runs smoothly.
