Kate Sloss
Managing Director
Kate began her career in the civil contracting industry in 1991 and brings decades of experience across civil construction, roading, drainage, and traffic management operations. She has co-owned road and drainage contracting businesses that incorporated internal traffic management functions, providing a strong practical understanding of how traffic management integrates with live civil works.

From 2013 to 2022, Kate held the role of Administration and Accounts Manager for JFC Ltd.’s South Island division, where she was responsible for operational support, financial management, and administrative systems across complex projects.
​
As Managing Director of PEAK Traffic Management, Kate is focused on delivering high standards of professionalism, client service, and operational consistency. She places strong emphasis on staff development, clear communication, and building long-term client relationships, supporting PEAK’s position as a reliable and trusted traffic management provider.
​
Kate holds the New Zealand Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety (Level 4), completed in early 2025.
Colin Sloss
Estimating and Truck Production Manager
Colin brings more than 37 years of experience in the civil contracting industry across New Zealand, with extensive involvement in roading, drainage, and traffic management operations. He has previously owned and operated successful civil contracting businesses that incorporated temporary traffic management, providing a strong understanding of how traffic management integrates with construction delivery.

From 2013 to 2022, Colin held the role of General Manager for JFC Ltd.’s South Island operations, where he was responsible for overseeing project delivery, planning, programming, and operational performance across a range of civil works.
​
At PEAK Traffic Management, Colin focuses on aligning cost estimating, planning, and programming with client specifications, while identifying practical, “best for project” solutions. He places strong emphasis on client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and building positive working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.


Kevin Westeneng
Team Leader - Traffic Management Planning
Kevin brings more than two decades of experience in traffic management planning and compliance, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and practical delivery. His background includes senior roles with City Care Ltd and SCIRT, where he led significant traffic management functions across complex projects.

Throughout his career, Kevin has coordinated and reviewed thousands of Traffic Management Plans, developed and implemented compliance and training programmes, and worked closely with councils and Road Control Authorities to ensure regulatory requirements were consistently met.
​
As Team Leader and TMP Planner at PEAK Traffic Management, Kevin plays a key role in producing clear, workable Traffic Management Plans, managing planning workflows, and supporting compliant on-site delivery. His depth of experience and collaborative approach provide valuable support to both clients and field teams.
Mike Smith
STMS, TMA Driver and Fleet Manager
Mike brings more than 20 years of experience in traffic management and works on site as an experienced STMS and TMA Driver supporting PEAK projects. He has been part of the PEAK Traffic Management team since June 2024 and plays an important role in supporting safe, efficient, and well-managed worksites.
​
Working directly on site with clients and crews, Mike offers practical support and draws on his civil contracting background to assist with planning, setup, and problem-solving where required. As Fleet Manager, he is also responsible for overseeing PEAK’s fleet and equipment, ensuring vehicles and plant are maintained, compliant, and ready for deployment.
​
Mike’s practical approach, industry knowledge, and calm on-site presence contribute to consistent site standards and positive outcomes for both clients and field teams.


Leanne Davies
Stakeholder Manager
Leanne possesses over 20 years of experience in client engagement. She began her career as a self-employed entrepreneur, built successful businesses, and developed a communicative and positive team culture amongst her staff. In 2022, she embarked upon her most recent stakeholder management journey, entering the construction industry as part of JFC's Christchurch Branch. Leanne has considerable experience liaising with members of the public and will maintain a friendly, informative, and approachable presence for all key stakeholders.
