Colombo Centaurus Intersection Wastewater Repair
The project involved the repair of a 375mm wastewater main over two weeks of night shifts in a busy Christchurch roundabout. It required careful and effective traffic management to minimise disruption in this high-traffic area. PEAK implemented a four-way traffic light setup and employed a stop/go system during busy traffic times to maintain safety and flow. Our team liaised closely with ECAN regarding bus routes and collaborated with other traffic management providers in the area to ensure seamless operations. It was imperative that the road was fully operational during day hours, necessitating a massive team effort and precise coordination. The project was completed successfully and this achievement highlights our commitment to effective collaboration, strategic planning, and exceptional execution in complex urban environments.
Bridle Path Road, Lyttelton Wastewater Upgrade
This upgrade presented a challenging task due to its location amidst steep hills and narrow roads. Despite these complexities, the team skilfully navigated the unique conditions to ensure minimal disruption to both the project and the local residents. Our approach focused on maintaining efficient workflow and reducing the impact on the community, demonstrating our commitment to accommodating local needs. The team’s efforts were rewarded with stunning views of Lyttelton Harbour. This project exemplifies our ability to tackle intricate traffic management situations with expertise, ensuring smooth operations even in the most challenging settings.

Odeon Theatre Structural Enhancement
Occurring in the heart of the CBC, PEAK was responsible for orchestrating a one-lane closure on Tuam Street. Central to the success of this project was our proactive engagement with a diverse array of city centre stakeholders. Through ongoing dialogue and collaboration, we cultivated new relationships with key personnel, including local authorities. This collaborative approach not only facilitated smooth project execution but also laid the groundwork for future cooperation and coordination.
Cranford and Innes Road Water Connection
At the bustling intersection of Cranford and Innes Road, PEAK undertook a series of intensive night shifts to facilitate infrastructure upgrades. Our team skilfully implemented lane drops and reductions on Cranford Street and Innes Road, providing access for contractors to complete the installation of water services for a housing project located near the intersection. By strategically managing lane closures and traffic diversions, we minimised disruption and maintained safety for all road users.
The successful completion of this project highlights our ability to execute complex traffic management solutions with efficiency, even in high-traffic urban environments.
